UNC Fans - or lack thereof...

From Steve Czaben Show today...

Czabe said UNC was unable to fulfill its allotted spots in the designated student sections at the final four, so they recruited Arizona State students to come to the game for free.* Instructions were to only wear a white tee shirt and had to root for UNC.

I did see some kids with some great seats wearing ASU gear. Thought they just crashed for the camera.

Did the ASU students have to take phantom African studies classes like the UNC players did for over a decade before getting the tickets?

Not a shock. Long way to go across the country for a student.

Funny thing, Eddie House who was on Sirius XM was talking about the UNC student section. Many were saying, hey Eddie and tossing up the fork sign!

They just had to say they knew Swahili

Like the UNC players, all were enrolled and received a grade, but never had to attend or work in order to get their easy 'A'.

Bob Ryan ripped UNC in the "Parting Shots" segment of Sports Reporters this morning - "would have been better if another team had won".

If George Costanza attended UNC: "I always wanted to pretend to know Swahili."
