New partnership for the WBY Shootout ...
The state's largest holiday basketball tournament and the Majerus Family Foundation have formed a new partnership. The Majerus Family Foundation is an organization founded to support athletics, education, medical research and social justice -- four areas dear to legendary basketball coach Rick Majerus and his family.
The Wisconsin Basketball Yearbook Shootout, held for the past five seasons at Concordia University in Mequon and featuring many outstanding high school basketball programs in Wisconsin and beyond, and the Majerus Family Foundation will work together in the new Rick Majerus WBY Shootout.
Twenty-nine teams from Wisconsin will participate in the 2015 Rick Majerus WBY Shootout, set for December 28-29-30 at Concordia.
