Go UAB!
Well, you won't have to watch him on TV anymore.
I had ISU in my final four. I also had Northeastern beating ND - off to my customarily good start.
Ha! That's awesome!
Losing Transfer State as a F4 team doesn't matter knowing McKay done.
Yeah I'm petty & bitter
My understanding he was ineligible first semester, and this was his junior year. Either way, seeing McKay and Burton left MU for Iowa State, can't say I was not happy to see them bow out to #14 seed UAB. Using Doug Gottlieb logic, this must mean Iowa State was overrated and the Big 12 was not that good? :)
Does the Mayor become the next Bulls coach? That rumor has been picking up the last couple of weeks.
Great program win for UAB. After losing football, take that Paul Bryant Jr. CLOWN!
Would not be shocked if he declared for the NBA draft. Unless Hoiberg can teach Jameel how to shoot, I'm not sure what another year at ISU would do for his already declared NBA aspirations. His skills are what we see and those skills will not be enhanced by another collegiate season.
Box score has him for 10 points, 12 rebounds, and 6 blocks.
Man, we could have used him this year. My guess is we would have won five or six more games with him at the 5 until Luke was eligible and then at the 4.
It really urinates me off.
Not sure who said it, but I saw this on ESPN - Another year where Hampton has more NCAA wins than Iowa State.
1) Buzz never requested that he red shirt.
2) This would be his last year had he stayed at MU.
He was at MU last year for first semester and opted not to play. Transferred to Iowa State at semester and through transfer rules had to sit one year - 2nd semester last year and 1st semester this year.
He gets two years to play. 2nd semester this year = 1, next year = 2
He will probably sign up for the NBA draft.
