Going into this week, i honestly expected 3 wins on this road trip, now it might be 3 losses.
It's pretty simple, who is gonna step up offensively besides Aaron and Harris ?
and is anybody gonna do any post work ?
I'm gonna pick Rider to win 75 to 67, and I hope I am wrong !
61-60 Milwaukee
Panther MVP: Ryan Haggerty
Keys:
- Don't watch Jay O. They need to make sure they aren't standing around waiting for Jordan to do something.
- Pound the glass. Jacksonville had no answer for the zone defense, but Milwaukee couldn't make them pay for it by letting them get offensive rebounds galore.
- Protect the ball. It's one thing to commit 20 turnovers when you're running the fast break offense, but because Milwaukee was being pressed, they never started running and gunning it. Fewer possessions leads to turnovers having a higher value. They need to protect that ball, don't be sloppy.
Milwaukee 77, Rider 54.
Milwaukee MVP: Kyle Kelm
1) Shoot 3's at a high percentage
2) Make free throws at least 75%
3) play tough smart defense
-Easy win for Panthers
Rider 68 Milwaukee 60
MVP: Chad Knodl (his comments)
keys: 1) stay out of foul trouble
2) need consistent mix of 3's and in the paint points
3) hate to say it, but Jeter needs a full 40min game plan
Hate to say it but we are gonna lose. NO way you beat Rider who i feel is better than Jax after losing to UALR and JAX. I dont know how you beat Davidson then this happens.
Rider 67, Milwaukee 60
MVP: Bobo
Keys: Bench players need to step up. Do Evan Richard and Co. even have a pulse?
If we lose this game in the same fashion as the last 2, Haarsma needs to throw Jeter's passport in the ocean. This is the most I've been embarassed in my time at Milwaukee by this basketball program.
Let me save everyone some typing later. "These refs suck! They are f'ing us over again!"
There. That settles that.
And we're on the air with Milwaukee's original J.O., Bill Johnson.
Meetch made a 3?! Wow!
I like Bill Johnson a whole lot more calling Milwaukee games than I do in talk radio, that's for sure.
Why is Wolf taking shots? Why is Wolf playing?
We are really having issues with the pressure Rider is applying
There you go Kyle. Let's start going.
If we start moving the ball quickly, they can really settle into their kind of game.
It does seem like the press has been giving us problems all week. I know this was a big focus in recruiting, and a big reason we picked up Bobo and Jay O - they can both handle the ball in ways that Kaylon Williams could not.
But they're not breaking the press.
Big Meech turns it over. Surprise.
2 fouls by haarsma early again..smh
Haarsma in foul trouble again. Big shock.
Is it For-two-not or For-two-no?
Hey JJ is in the game!
A JJ sighting?! Imagine that....
woah JJ in...world is ending dec 21 for sure
Ugh I guess the Arians-Panoske-Haggerty lineup doesn't really work.
It's great that the Panthers have Panoske, a guy who's 6'10" 225 lbs. and he goes and bricks a three pointer. Perfect.
the word turnover seems to be the first word in UWM Basketball dictionary, i think the second word would be PCB then
Evan saw me tweeting his gf apparently. lol
maybe we need to start tweeting at Kelm then instead of just using his name
No-Can-Defend...
Still on pace to get blown out.
They need Gulley back BAD for depth at guard.
Nice to see a fire under Evan's ass!
Just because they're trying to mold him into a post player doesn't mean that you take away his outside shooting completely to do so.
Panoske was a 46% three-point shooter in high school.
Your argument is invalid here. This isn't the team's problem. It's lack of motivation, sloppy defense, and a cancerous culture.
Rider is just having way too easy a time scoring.
I think everyone may have taken Ryan Allen for granted the last two seasons because they certainly miss his defense.
Bobo is a very good on-the-ball defense, but we're missing the help defense of Allen and Williams - that's the big difference right now. But there's no one leading, no one telling them how to do things.
Austin's dropping some A-bombs!
