Georgia game thread

Howard and Rowsey with about as bad a start as humanly possible. Two fouls in a minute for Howard and 3 turnovers for Rowsey in about two minutes

I can’t believe how bad Rowsey is playing in the 1st half

Doesn't help that MU had committed 6 turnovers in first 12 mins of game.

Theo has to learn how to play D without fouling

Well — on a positive, they played their worst offensive half of the year and they’re still tied

WTF is Wojo doing leaving Howard in with 2 fouls and unde 2 minutes to go in the half? A dumb foul but piss poor coaching decision.

I do like some of the defensive changes - they are trapping a lot out on the perimeter which is causing problems for Georgia - nice to see some good D.

Last call on Heldt was crap. Yes, I know Rowsey has perfected "That thing", but Heldt was 2-3 feet away from the guy, he bit on a pump fake and the guy had to launch himself towards him. Have to start calling some of those on the offensive player.

Take Rowsey out

MU currently shooting 31% from the field. That won't help.

Need to defend paint. Georgia has outscored MU in the paint 22-10.

Agree, he's 0-6.

Howard now has 20 pts in 13 minutes of play. Pretty impressive.

So frustrated with Rowsey’s play today. If he’s not hitting his threes, Wojo should put him on the bench. He can’t play D and he’s a turnover machine today

Kick to the open man!!!

In spite of everything, it was still a winnable game. I assume Wojo is going to have another "chat" with Andrew.

Yep. In person, it looked like he was shooting flat footed trying to shovel the hook shots upward. And, those were very very marketable. Matt has really struggled this week. Great effort, but....... John continues to be a foul machine.

Theo's big enough to take a hit. He's gotta focus on positioning, rather than attacking the shot.

It looks like his mind is going a mile a minute out there. Game just hasn't slowed down for him yet.

Was Cain supposed to be this good of a shooter? I was expecting more of a slasher, but he's got a nice shot.

RPI now down to 123 after Georgia...Vermont is at 26.
