Greg Elliott commits to Marquette!
Congrats to Elliott, Wojo and MU staff.
Welcome aboard Greg! Looking forward to watching Greg play as he fills a need for MU with his athleticism and high motor.
Welcome aboard Greg!! The MU family is excited to have you!! Let's make some noise!
Welcome aboard Greg. Looking forward to seeing him play next year. One more piece and this team could really make some noise. Great get by Wojo and staff.
Awesome news! Welcome!
Great to have Greg coming to MU, and can't wait to see him play at the BC. Love the Michigan kids coming to Milwaukee.
Adding GE really makes this a great class coming in who will have much success in the Big East!
Great news!
Side note - with Elliott, Eke, Cain, John all coming in.....man, that is a considerable upgrade from an athleticism prospective.
And that doesn't even count Froling, who I'm really excited about.
What fantastic news. Another top player out of Michigan decides he would rather play at Marquette then one of the state schools. Can't wait to see Greg on the court!
Fantastic news! Welcome Greg!
All Hail Wojo and his assistants! Its not easy to come into Detroit and snag three stellar player. I have seen Greg Elliot play three times and he is the "real' deal". I cannot wait for these guys to represent our great Marquette basketball program.
I've said all along that I think Greg could push for a starting spot next year, or, at the very least a solid 15-20 mpg. From what I've seen, he is considerably quicker than either Haanif or Sacar, and he is a better ball handler than Sacar and maybe better in this regard than Haanif.
He may prove to be even more valuable on defense than on offense in terms of defending BE 2 guards as he is certainly bigger than Rowsey or Markus and quicker than both as well.
Reading the article on him above, I think much of what the individual has written could be right on ( or is it spot on?).
I really liked our mini-midget back-court combo of Markus and Rowsey from an offensive standpoint, but we usually suffered on the defensive end when both were on the court together. I think Greg will offer a legitimate option for Wojo to play alongside either Markus or Rowsey.
Welcome to MU, Greg! Great choice for a great player!
Welcome to MU Greg..It will be a blast watching you and Jamal, and your fellow GE teammates do big things at MU the next few years!!
Really great news. I loved reading about Greg's toughness and commitment to excel. Looking forward to having him at MU.
Welcome to MU Greg!! Looking forward to 4 years of your Detroit toughness!
Fits a huge need. Welcome to MU Greg!
Bigtime!!!!
Welcome To MU, Greg!!!!
I think his shooting mechanic's are nice and simple, IE not a lot of wasted motion. also my guess is that fact that he can get to the rim so quickly means people are not going to be on him Like say Rowsey. Also on the 1st Video he made 3 baskets with his left which means he can score when going to the rim instead of just getting fouled. Great pickup and glad he wanted to be at MU. I think in general this class will turn out better then the national rankings.
Looking forward to watching Greg play and develop over the next 4 years! Welcome to the MU family!
This is awesome news and he seems like a great young man. I wish him great success both on and off the court at MU. I hope the Michigan tres amigos have the same success as an earlier group of amigos.

I would say the chances are ZERO!!!!!
As someone who is from Michigan but chose to go out of state to Marquette, I say welcome aboard, Greg and great choice!!! You will be very happy in the MU family!
To think in his second year at Marquette, he will be playing in a new bling-bling arena in the greatest conference in America, the Big East!
Great day to be a Marquette fan. Big things ahead for Greg and MU!
Really excited by the commitment of Greg Elliott! Absolutely love the intensity he will bring to both ends of the court!
Elliott, Cain and Ike are this generations "Three Amigos." They are just as athletic but bigger ;-)
Welcome to the newest Golden Eagle! Great news!
Be interested to see if he can play any point. Some of his news clippings indicate maybe he can. Would be an even bigger get if he can help man the 1 at times after next year.
Greg, welcome to the Marquette family. We are excited to have you join us and can't wait to see you play.
Very excited by this news...welcome to the Marquette family, Greg!
Welcome Greg!
I think with the 3 commits from Michigan they will have a bond to grow together and form a core for the future.
As another poster mentioned they are taller version of the 3 amigos. We need to get them a nickname.
I think Brew should start and monitor the contest:)
Awesome, welcome aboard Greg!
