Providence Game Thread

Derrick has definitley seen better days, offense is running a lot smoother with Dawson and he is at least a threat to score. Mayo is a little bit out of control right now, but I guess you have to be when noone else can score out there

Pieces just don't fit. No consistent shooters. Terrible point guard. Too many players with similar skill sets. Just a tip, if you can score, your defense doesn't need to be as good.

Ah, wouldn't DWill qualify for both those comments? He doesn't shoot, but when he does, it certainly looks bad.

No ref is going to call a one armed fade away though.

We pass up open looks to take shots like the one Jamil just missed..........

Dawson is 2-2 from the field I think.

I'm sitting here thinking about all the people that made comments about how Buzz's teams always get better as the year goes on when they were struggling early. It makes me LOL.

Wow Todd...amazing what happens when you actually take the wide open shot instead of up-faking into the trees.

Why hasn't Mayo been taking those threes all night? He's had space all night.

The sad part is Providence is really not playing all that well......they are giving us every chance to steal this and we can't seem to do it

I wonder if it is because Buzz wants a paint touch before a 3 is shot?

They usually do get better. However, in my opinion he should have been playing the youngsters since earlier in the season in a more prominent role, as they have upside and are the future. They would have improved, as would the team. Not a lot of upside in guys like Dwill and I don't see the benefit of continuing to put him out there.

I think I may just be glad when this disastrous season is over. These guys are so hard to watch. Just a dumb team.

Mayo has been the whole show.....too many turnovers but you live with the badx when he is doing the good

How many times can you foul the 3 point shooter? Dumb, dumb, dumb.

This feels unwinnable. Every time something goes good, it pisses right back in our face.

This is laughable how poorly coached these guys are on fouling the 3 point shooter. Really, really bad. Don't recall seeing other teams foul like MU does on a 3 point shooter. May want to change your philosophy of jumping at the guys Buzz and just close out with a high hand.

How do you give up the same four-point play twice?

Can u believe that? Todd, if you get beat on the 3 let it go - don't compound it.

Mayo's plus/minus tonight not helped by giving up a pair of 4 point plays. Sigh

Kids got a double double and he could be the goat. Never seen anything like it.
