We are 3-4 wins from a bid. 3 in MSG or 4 overall. Considering how we've played against 'Nova and Creighton, I expect we're simply out.

For an at-large, next loss can only be in Big East tourney finals.
As frustrating as this loss is, before this game there was a thought that MU had to at least win 2 of the last 3 and 1 or 2 in the Big East tourney. If MU loses Tuesday, then BE Tourney champs is a must.
I will call a spade a spade......If the T was late in a close game sure....I'll blame thew coach for the loss.....it wasn't a smart play but to say it cost us a win in a game that wasn't close? please....nobody knows what would have happened if he didn't get the T.....We were down 6 and Nova had the ball.......all it did was cost us 2 points......The 3 they made wasn't the result of the T..it was the result of Jamil letting Hillard shoot an open 3.....
How do you figure? - If MU finishes by beating Providence & St. John's, they finish 11-7.
Xavier has Seton Hall & Villanova. They split the finish 11-7.
Providence has MU & Creighton. If they lose both the finish 9-9.
St. John's has MU. If they lose they finish 9-9.
Georgetown has Creighton & Villanova. They lose both they are 7-11.
Of course it all requires MU to win both remaining games, but it is the likely scenario.
Great effort today MU with your NCAA lives on the line. Just freaking end this season ASAP. Decline the NIT bid(if they even get one). It'd just be an embarrassment more than anything.
JJ going to get some mop up minutes.....
