Bucks sign Wookie?

There has been no release from the Bucks yet, but from everything on Facebook I believe they have signed another local player in Charlie Westbrook, aka "Wookie".

Wookie is a 6'4 guard and is one of those guys that improved after he left Milwaukee. He went to Riverside, then Juco, the South Dakota but has impressed the hell out of me ever since. he has played over seas, in the D-League and the last two years he was the last guy cut from the Miami Heat.

I have been saying for years that this is the best player in Milwaukee, including the pros. I have tried to get him in the pro am the last few years but he is always leaving town to work out with different trainers.

Outside shot but I hope he makes it, the kid can play and seems like a class act.

What a nickname! Have not heard of him but sounds like he has had quite the journey. Best of luck to him landing somewhere. Maybe one day he will use his experiences to transition to coaching, would have a lot to teach others.
