Three to Transfer from Women's Program

BREAKING: Kenisha Bell, Tia Elbert, Hannah Grim all have releases and are planning to leave Marquette. All 3 in our Top 11 MN-2014 Rankings.

Bell and Elbert were the second and third leading scorers. All three were freshmen.

I just looked at their roster. Looks like they will only have 2 or 3 returning players. The three leaving are leaving when there should be plenty of PT. WTF is going on there?

New coach, hired around the same time as Wojo.

Wojo lost Mayo, Levin, Burton, Dawson & Taylor.

Is this the same type of change or is it something else?

Wow. Those freshmen are really good. They probably were the most talented on the team.

That doesn't reflect well on Kieger at all. Between the results and losing (presumably) her own recruits already, might she be on a shortening leash already?

Who recruited these three?

These are Terri's recruits.

Guess you have to hold off on any rush to judgment then. Can anyone speak to how Kieger has been doing on the recruiting trail?

I'm not as familiar with the women's program anymore since I was close with Terri and I just don't have the time to make it to many games. However, I've heard that she's pulling in some great recruits. The thing that stinks here is that Elbert and Bell fit her style of play. I think Bell is the best player they've had in a very long time.
