Some pretty wild records from last night's Bucks game...
From Bucks Press Release
SEEING THE FUTURE, MAKING HISTORY – The future was on full display last night as Giannis Antetokounmpo (18 points, 17 rebounds, 11 assists), Jabari Parker (36 points) and Khris Middleton (30 points) – all age 24 or younger – produced impressive games in Milwaukee’s 128-121 win over Houston. Below is a sampling of the most impressive facts and figures from last night’s win:
- It marked the first time a Buck has recorded a triple-double with a pair of teammates scoring 30+ points since Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Oscar Robertson and Bob Dandridge did so on March 19, 1974.
- It marked the first time a pair of Bucks players both scored 30+ points in a regulation-length game since Michael Redd (37) and Mo Williams (31) on Dec. 1, 2006.
- Parker and Antetokounmpo are the first pair of teammates both age 21 or younger in NBA history to record a 35-point game and a triple-double on the same night.
- Antetokounmpo posted just the fourth triple-double in franchise history that included 15+ points and rebounds, and first since Alvin Robertson on Dec. 26, 1990.
- Middleton went a perfect 15-for-15 from the free-throw line, matching the Bucks franchise record for most free throws in a game without a miss (set three times previously, most recently by Michael Redd on Dec. 23, 2009).
- Middleton shot 7-for-11 from the field, making him the first player to score 30+ points on 11 or fewer shots since LeBron James on Feb. 8, 2013. He’s the only Buck in the last 30 years to accomplish the feat.
