Thats great, will they be streaming that to Buck Bradley's because I for sure am not giving up that extra beer to watch these pregame concerts.

Hey, kudos to those in MU athletics for trying to come up with new and innovative ideas to engage fans. However, I'm skeptical this will be successful. Hell, a lot of fans are still filing into their seats after the game has already started. I find it hard to believe they'll leave the bar early to come watch live music in the atrium before the game.

Credit goes to Brian Hardin and Brian Morgan for setting up fresh new idea at Marquette games.

Nothing wrong with creating a more festive atmosphere at the game whether people go out of their way to watch or not.

Yeah it's a cool idea, hopefully it's successful. Probably will get better with time.

Maybe in the future, they could have these bands perform in the new plaza outside the arena? Would need some heaters set up but if they are outside the bar on the walk into the arena that would be cool (I'm picturing a setup similar to Louisville for those who were there for the tournament a few years ago).

I think this was done a few years back. More festive walking in, but I normally get there a few minutes before game time.

Goose is correct, they did this a few years ago. Adds to the entrance lobby atmosphere, but I don't think people really stayed around to listen to it.

Maybe Haanif will get Drake to come and perform pregame :cool:
