Key to conference season

With the first game upon us, I think it's going to be huge for this team to show improvement on how they close out games. The cards definitely seem stacked against us given Derrick, with the leadership he brings, has to come out at the end of games. We were in a ton of games last year, lost 4 conference games in OT with what I feel like was more experienced albeit lesser talent, and just struggled to close out similar to the early season this year. Can we sustain on the road with a lead? The reality is MU was looking like a tournament team last year until the final 4 games and they started out 8-5 out of conference. 8-4 this year against arguably a tougher schedule and it feels like it's been an uphill battle at times to this point, but I think this team can get it done which would be huge in Wojo's first year. Need Duane, JJJ and Luke to continue to give us scoring punch and effort on the defensive end. We'll see, I guess.
