• Milwaukee Summer Pro-Am Opening Night Results

    The 2012 Scion Dental Milwaukee Summer Pro-Am kicked off at Greenfield High School on Friday night and it was a wild one. Incoming Marquette freshman Steve Taylor from Simeon High School in Chicago led all scorers on the night with 30 points. The top rebounders on the night were Taylor, Marquette's Jamil Wilson and St. Leo's Tom Neary, all pulling down 12 boards. Here are the results, will be continuing to update throughout the day.

    Game 1 Schell Dentistry 92, Baird 86


    UW-Green Bay's Kam Cerroni led Schell Dentistry with 28 points and 10 rebounds while Milwaukee's JJ Panoske added 23 and 6. Belmont's Drew Windler led Baird with 26 points and 11 rebounds.

    Euro star Myles McKay led Gruber Law with 28 points and 7 assists while Ed Reed added 26 points and 6 rebounds to lead Gruber Law. Milwaukee's James Haarsma led RYCO with 23 points and 7 rebounds, while Marquette's Jamil Wilson had22 and 12.

    Marquette Freshman Steve Taylor led Scion Dental with 30 points and 12 rebounds while Junior Cadougan added 18 points and 18 assists to lead Hodan Doster & Ganzer. Marquette's Vander Blue and Davante Gardner combined for 53 points for Hodan Doster & Ganzer.

    2012 Tournament MVP Dejuante Wade is back and hasn't lost a step as he led BrewCityBall.com to a 78-69 win over AthletiCo. Wade put in 28 points while the other Wade, Boo Wade, added 20 to go along with 8 rebounds. AthletiCo was led by a breakout performance by Stevens Point's Dan Tillema who put up 27 points in the loss.

      Thanks so much, Jim, for your intense work and the extraordinarily entertaining Pro-Am you've put together this year! Despite some missing players (Wesley, TJ with his clearance problem), the first night was great fun (as well is seeing some of our posters).
