• Milwaukee still looking for dates

Assistant coach Duffy Conroy of the Milwaukee Panthers is still trying to fill dates on the schedule. The Panthers have games against Wisconsin, Marquette, Northern Iowa, Northern Illinois and Buffalo for sure, with a possible road swing at Fairfield this year if we can match up with a buy game or home-and-home to begin in the NYC area. They just want to make sure they can get a game on the east coast so the team isn't flying out there just to play one game.

Conroy posted at 8 p.m. Monday on Basketball Traveler's, a well-known website for college basketball coaches to put out what basically amounts to want-ads for scheduling.

"Looking for a H/H to start in Milwaukee. Dates Nov. 27,28, Dec 8. Call with interest, 414-229-DUFFCON4"

If Conroy is only advertising for home games and only has three dates available, you can assume that the schedule is closer to complete than the

Around the conference, Green Bay is looking for a same-season home-and-home like they've done against schools like Houston Baptist.

Cleveland State's basketball budget must have gotten bigger, because they're looking for three home-and-home series and are offering a guarantee to start two of them at home. One would likely be the home opener.

Georgia Southern is playing at Valparaiso on November 9th.

Butler is looking for guarantee games to pay out. Comes with the territory.

Wright State has a ton of dates available, so it looks like they don't have much of a schedule yet. They're much of an unknown because of all the roster turnover, so I expect they will go a long time without filling the schedule.

Youngstown State continues to piss me off. Look at this:

"Youngstown State is looking to start H/H series in Youngstown 12-13 w/ like rpi opponent 200+ and will return following year. Flexible dates!! Outside chance we could do home/home same year. Contact Brian DePaoli 330 727 5894 or email bdepaoli@ysu.edu"

So they're looking for a "like rpi 200+" - wow they really have a high ceiling for themselves.
