Milwaukee's Panthers (that's right the Panthers of Milwaukee) traveled to Fort Worth, Texas yesterday for their game tonight against Texas Christian University, home of the Horned Frogs.

The Panthers, third place in the Horizon League, will meet the Mountain West Conference's fifth-place finisher for the first time in school history. It will be a day of firsts; the Panthers and TCU will both be playing in their first College Basketball Invitational in each school's history,

TCU comes in on a three-game losing streak, ending their time in the MWC tournament in the first game against Colorado State. The Rams dumped the Horned Frogs unceremoniously from the tournament on their way to the NCAA Tournament.

    TCU by the numbers

    - TCU is led by Hank Thorns in scoring at 13.5 ppg. The 5'9'' point guard is a volume shooter who leads the team by more than two points per game despite shooting only 38% from the field.

    - The Horned Frogs have a banger by the name of JR Cadot, who is second in points (11.3 ppg) and leads in rebounding (7 rpg)

    - Of their seven conference losses, TCU lost five of them by double-digits. Their last victory, a 19-point blowout of New Mexico, is their only conference victory by double-digits.

    - The Horned Frogs allow opponents to shoot 37.6% from three-point range, so expect the Panthers to continue their bombing from the outside.

    - Not only do opponents shoot well from the outside, they do from all over. TCU allows 52.9% eFG, last in the MWC, 47.4% FG.

    - TCU has three top-50 home victories. Milwaukee has no top-50 victories, period.
