I took a look at the Bradley site to see what Brian Wardle was up to. Pretty interesting. He has eight freshmen on the team, so either he signed a lot of guys or he is loading up on walk-ons and saving scholarships for the future. But was also interesting was his assistants. Brian Barone had been his associate head coach at Green Bay and is no longer on the staff. He moved on to be the head coach at Butler Community College in Kansas. Perhaps he has decided he needs some experience running his own team. But he was replaced on Wardle's staff by the guy he replaced at Butler, Mike Bargen, who had produced an impressive record in the juco ranks. I am not sure if Bargen is Wardle's top assistant. Probably not, as he brought one of his assistants with him from Green Bay.
