Like running the court very well, still don't understand this team's lack of help defense.

I do like the feature that MU has where they honor a all star faculty member and his family. Will go a long way in bridging the gap between the hoops program and the academia.

Timeout at the 11:06 mark...

Jajuan Johnson has yet to play.

MU only has 2 fouls. (both came in last two mins)

MU only has one turnover. (only one came in last minute)

Jajuan Johnson enters game for first time at 6:30 mark. Grandfather passed away so he had been in Alabama the last couple of days, just got back this morning.

Worst halftime entertainment ever.

Good ball movement for the most part. If we could hit even a decent percentage of wide open 3 point shots we would be dangerous.

Too many turnovers in the last 5 minutes or so.

These undersized teams create different types of problems for guys like Luke and Henry.

Help D has to be better. Cohen gets beat from 25 feet and his man gets all the way to the rim uncontested.

Cheatham is going to score a lot of points here before he is done.

Cannot wait until this team gets Rowsey and Hauser. Love our offensive principles and identity, but need shooters to help open up the lane. We have created a ton of open looks today, but cannot hit open shots for the life of us. I figure that Rowsey starts no matter what next season, and Hauser may start at the 4 if Henry goes pro.

Fischer and H. Ellenson with zero first half fouls. I'll even take 1. Important for those guys to not have to sit long stretches in 2nd halves.

Luke's passing out of the post has been great.

Markedman is right, 6 turnovers at the half, 4 in the closing minutes.

Wow Cheatham.....

I see some Darrun Hilliard in Cheatham's game. Obviously not as good yet, but a lefty with size that can attack going left or right and looks like he will develop into a solid 3-point shooter.

At the 15:54 mark in 2nd half....

Points in Paint: MU 24, JSU 18
Points off Turnovers: MU 9, JSU 6
2nd Chance Points: MU 9, JSU 10
Fast Break Points: MU 10, JSU 6

Giving up too many 2nd chance points and points in paint.

Traci Carter so far - 5 pts, 5 assists zero turnovers. I like him. Henry Ellenson already has a double-double at 15 pts and 10 rebounds, Luke Fischer 10 Points, 5 blocks.

No point guard on the floor and 2 ugly turnovers

This game has not been close since the opening minutes, but MU can't seem to expand past the 20pt lead.

I would like to see Matt Helm and Sacir Anim in the game during the final two minutes. They need playing time and we will eventually have to expand our bench as the season goes on.

Wojo isn't going to be happy with the way they finished the game. Way too many silly turnovers

For those at the game or not watching on TV, the announcer said that Jajuan Johnson's grandfather died on Friday and Jajuan returned from Memphis just prior to tipoff so that may explain the fact that he only played a couple of minutes..

I thought MU was great the first 5 minutes in the 2nd half and poor the final 6 minutes.

We were definitely wondering what was up with JJJ - glad MU really didn't need him today and HC is getting pretty studly - yikes.

Wojo said it was hard to play him because he didn't get a chance to prepare and Jackson State played a bunch of different defenses which made preparation even more critical.
