As Jordan Clarkson is out.

UPDATE: Blue will get the start Wednesday in place of Jordan Clarkson (ankle).

ANALYSIS: With Clarkson sidelined due to a sprained ankle, Blue will move into the starting lineup for the depleted Lakers. He's appeared in only one game for the team since being signed, Monday's loss to Sacramento, and he scored seven points in 26 minutes. Blue should see a heavy minutes load Wednesday.

May as well see what they have with him

He will probably play the whole game too because they only have three guards with Clarkson out.

That is a huge opportunity for Blue, would have been neat to see a Buycks and Blue back court, but hopefully Vander can have a good game and get some people to take notice for next season. It's not often that guys get an opportunity like this.

My cbs sports app says it's on TWSN - is this Time Warner Sports Network?

They have a national station. All the Laker games are blacked out in WI

He is leading the team in scoring through two quarters... 12 pts on 5/10 shooting... Unfortunately only 1/6 on 3's though...

Looks like Vander didn't get cheated in his opportunity in LA. Took 23 shots in 48 minutes of play.

6 of 23 does not exactly make a good impression.

No but 8 assists and 7 rebounds does.

And he played the full 48 minutes. He's not going to miss out on a chance next year due to one bad shooting night.

I don't know about that, normally I'd agree, but when they only have a limited sample
To go on I'd argue it will have a bigger impact than it would in most cases.

Well, the Lakers give Kobe a lot of money for that kind of shooting!:p

Still shoots line drives. VB also had 4 TO.

4 T/O's in 48 minutes - one a quarter - is not that much at all considering he also got 8 assists. I think being able to jack up 23 shots in an NBA game while also distributing the ball may open some eyes. He was making things happen and not just "taking care of the ball".

Making 6 of the 23 you jacked up will likely close more eyes than open. VB will not be a Laker next season.

He may not be. But it isn't going to be based on this one game performance.

I'd agree with that mostly because I think they like Buycks and don't need both.
