MU 2-2 from the free throw line, is that a season best?

That sequence summed up JJJ's season -- a nice drive and basket followed up the next time down the court with a forced drive and turnover

First round of stats are out, nothing earth shattering, but DePaul has 3 offensive rebounds resulting in 6 second chance points. Can't let that happen.

Any other recruits there besides Traci Carter?

On top of that, he is running down court, sees out of the corner of his eye that Wojo sent two guys to the table, he slowed down, turned around away from the play, just to check out who was coming in. JJ - you can't worry about coming in and out, you just have to give it everything you got when you are coming in.

Duane and JJJ have each found Carlino for 3's. Duane made an extra pass and JJJ off of a scramble feeds Carlino instead of taking a rushed shot. Good to see from both.

Duane was wide open on his too, but gave it up.

Great job by JJJ at end of shot clock. Didn't buy fake, stayed in front of his guy to force a shot clock violation.

Nice to STJr playing aggressively. I just wish he was 2 inches taller so he could get his shot off against taller opponents.

Steve Taylor - Chicago - DePaul

In every sport I have ever played or coached, I have always said you got to go with the guy that has the most on the line. Steve is from Chicago - playing DePaul is playing his home town rival. He will fight harder than everyone, got to give him some minutes. He'll still make some mistakes, but you can expect everything he's got every time they play DePaul.

Jim, can't tell from my seat. Is the blue smurf here?

Derrick went down hard, my guess is a very high ankle sprain. He was in a lot of pain, rolling around down on the floor as the play headed to the other end - refs had absolutely no clue. When MU got rebound play should have been stopped. Even when DePaul called the time out the ref that came down court almost stepped on him, had no idea he was there.

Stat check 14:35 mark MU up 37-28.

MU winning rebounding battle 27-23.

Both teams giving up way too many rebounds on the defensive end....
MU has 10 2nd chance points off of 8 offensive rebounds
DePaul has 13 2nd chance points off of 9 offensive rebounds.

MU holding at 6 turnovers, DePaul has climbed to 7.

MU 7-8 from the free throw line...... 7 for 8!!

Great to see Derrick Wilson come back in, hate to see a senior go out with an injury on Senior Night!

Not that I can see. Wait, do I need to look in a mirror?

He played a little in the 1st half. Think he's just riding the pine today.

How can a team be up 10 points when shooting 32% from the field? Answer: DePaul is shooting 29%.

MU still up on the glass 37-31, Steve Taylor leading the way with 10 rebounds.

MU with 9 turnovers, Duane Wilson has 3, but DePaul has turned it over 10 times.

MU is 10-12 from the free throw line, Luke Fischer is 6-6.

Have even asked DePaul people, no one seems to know why DePaul's Tommy Hamilton Jr has not played. You would think he would be a good one to bang against Fischer.

Seeing former DePaul great Dave Corzine at the table as a grey haired man I can't help but think, what happened to the massive fro?

Rather perfunctory ceremony. Much prefer the post-game version.

No video, nobody talked on the microphone. I've been at pre-game ceremonys and it can be done right.
