What don't you understand? Timeslot for TV is 7-11pm ET on weeknights. Two games, so somebody has to play the 9 ET games and they try to balance those late games among all schools.

9 ET tips are hard enough for attendance here. I can't imagine being located in the eastern time zone and playing at 9.

Having lived in the Eastern Time Zone, the hour difference is something they are used to. Nightly news starts at 7:00 pm and 11:00 pm. Primetime is 8:00 pm - 11:00 pm. You get used to the hour later time. Not saying they would love the 9:00 pm start over a 7:00 pm, but it is not as unusual as you might think.

I should've been more clear on my question. The balance part is odd. They try to balance those late games among all schools. Is it an home and road balance? Or a home game balance? If you look at Marquette's home schedule. For weeknight games 1 game started at 6pm, 0 games started at 7pm and 9 games started at 8pm, so where is balance? I understand the 8pm games as Marquette is 1 of the 3 central time zone schools, so it makes sense to start at 8pm. Let's get away from 8:15pm tip times.

I would like to see FS1 move to an 6:30Et/5:30Ct and 8:45Et/7:45Ct doubleheaders. BTN does it. Get an jump on ESPN for live coverage.

Agreed. More and more the games here start at 8:15 or later. Staggered times would be better. Of course, I'm an old fart, so those earlier times get me to bed on time. :)

Let's go back to tip times starting at 8:05. Overflow can go to FS2. Oh ya, everyone hated that in 2013-14 season as many don't have FS2.

I think it's only 37 million homes. I know it's not on the sports tier pass on twc and just the ditgial cable plan, but still only available in standard definition.

As someone who has lived in the East Coast for 18 years, 9:00 PM games truly suck. It hurts attendance when those games are hosted in the East and it hurts TV attendance as not everyone wants to stay up that late when they have work/school the next morning. Don't even get me started on the start times for Monday Night Football.

It's a fact of life that people on the East Coast get less sleep than those in the other parts of the country. Everything starts an hour later in the East except work and school bells.
