Can Murf tell me again how having only 8 guys is no big deal?

Surprised he went back in the game against Nova. That will not sit well ...

I suggest, for all of our health, we try to find the humor in what is about to happen today.

The training and medical staff allowed him back in, yet he was concussed. Not good.

Said on TV he didn't show symptoms until that night and was sent to the hospital.

Feel pretty strongly Dr. Maccoux would never have let him go back in if there were ANY question about a concussion. Went through the protocol earlier this season with a Nebraska-Omaha player with him. He was very thorough. Have to believe symptoms came later, though Matt did have that glazed over look after he landed.

I bet if Marcoux has seen that clip, he would have responded differently.

Actually told Mrs. Alpha I should text Doc M to let him know about the glazed look in his eyes, but I never did. I also said at the time that no way will Matt play on Saturday.

Why wasn't Doc with the team?

He was with the team. He just didn't have access to the tv replays that showed Matt's eyes looking completely out of whack for a few seconds.

When I saw replays of the fall, my first reaction was he was damn lucky he didn't break his neck.
