New numbers

When I read that I thought "what about the other freshmen?" And then I remembered we only have one.

When I read that I thought "what about the other freshmen?" And then I remembered we only have one.Have 4 seniors, 5 sophs and 1 frosh and 1 junior. Very unbalanced roster from a class standpoint. Hard to balance that without jucos and/or 3 year transfers.

I am not a fan of retiring numbers. I'd rather honor the player with his jersey hanging in the rafters, but allow others to choose the number.

I do think it might be interesting for incoming players get information on those players to wear the number before them.

Cohen has chosen #5. Off the top of my head some of those to wear #5 at MU were;

Chris Crawford
Scott Merritt

JJJ wore #23 as a senior in HS. also, Jake had #23 last year.
