This year's team includes two Sun-Times Player's of the Year: Young's Jahlil Okafor and Curie's Cliff Alexander.

Am I missing something - no Charles Matthews? Did they put in Dominique Matthews by mistake - it that his brother? Are we after any of the junior uncommitted guys?


Cliff Alexander, Curie
The 6-9 senior center earned Player of the Year honors and is a Kansas recruit. He was an All-City first team selection and McDonald’s All-American. Averaged 24 points, 15 rebounds and six blocks.

Ore Arogundade, St. Viator
The 6-2 senior guard, who is committed to Drake, averaged 20 points, nine rebounds, five assists and three steals. Scores in a variety of ways and very difficult to guard.

Evan Boudreaux, Lake Forest
The 6-7 junior forward matured into a dominant player. The area’s savviest rebounder, scored 43 vs. Stevenson, 34 against Marian Catholic.

Jalen Brunson, Stevenson
The 6-2 junior guard was this season’s breakout star. He averaged 25 points, five assists and shot 52 percent from field. One of the best guards in the country.

Connor Cashaw, Stevenson
The 6-4 junior forward proved doubters wrong this season. He averaged 17.7 points and 6.4 rebounds while helping the Patriots to 26-1 regular season.

Josh Cunningham, Morgan Park
The 6-7 senior forward was a three-year starter who averaged 23 points and 15 rebounds this season. Helped lead Mustangs to Class 3A state title in 2013. Uncommitted.

Riley Glassmann, Fremd
The 6-4 senior forward is a Cornell recruit. He led Vikings to undefeated regular season and Mid-Suburban League title while averaging 19 points, five rebounds and five assists.

Aaron Jordan, Plainfield East
The 6-4 junior guard is committed to Illinois. One of state’s top marksmen, he shoots 47 percent from three-point range. Averaged 20 points on the season.

John Konchar, West Chicago
The 6-4 senior guard went from unknown to a star. He averaged 29 points and 15 rebounds while becoming the leading scorer in school history. Uncommitted.

Dominique Matthews, St. Rita
The 6-2 senior guard is a versatile, creative scorer who stepped up to lead Mustangs. He averaged 20 points against a high-level schedule. Uncommitted.

Jack Morrissey, Loyola
The 6-2 senior guard is one of the best shooters in state history. He made 104 threes this season, and has 316 in his career, good for tenth on all-time list. Averaged 18 points this season.

Ed Morrow, Simeon
The 6-6 junior forward is a high-energy jumping jack who averaged 17 points, 11 rebounds and two blocks. He more than held his own in two matchups against Cliff Alexander.

David Nichols, Mount Carmel
The 6-0 senior guard was injured last season. He returned to have an amazingly consistent year, averaging 22 points, five rebounds and three assists. Led Caravan to 20-8 record. Uncommitted.

Sean O’Mara, Benet
The 6-9 senior center dominated opponents in Player of the Year-caliber season. He was a true post force averaging 23 points and 13 rebounds on the year. Xavier recruit.

Jahlil Okafor, Young
The 6-10 senior center is committed to Duke and was named to the McDonald’s All-American. He averaged 23 points and 12 rebounds while ranked No. 1 in national class of 2014.

Luwane Pipkins, Bogan
The 5-10 junior guard is the best guard in Chicago. He led Bengals to unlikely Red-South title and averaged 28 points, four assists and five steals. First team All-City selection.

Tyler Ulis, Marian Catholic
The 5-10 senior guard is one of the top point guards in the country. The Kentucky recruit averaged 23 points and seven assists in leading the Spartans to 24-2 record.

Jontrell Walker, West Aurora
The 6-0 senior guard, who is equally adept at scoring and facilitating, led Blackhawks to a 23-4 record. He is the school’s all-time leading scorer with more than 1,600 points.

Paul White, Young
The versatile 6-9 senior forward can score on the perimeter and in the paint. He averaged 17 points and eight rebounds. First team All-City selection, Georgetown recruit.

Milik Yarbrough, Zion-Benton
The 6-5 senior forward is a four-year starter and the top scorer in Lake County history with more than 2,500 points. Led Z-B to 26-3 season. Uncommitted.
