Seton Hall is a dangerous team. When the Pirates make threes and get Teague involved, they are very good. Edwin is an all-Big East performer, IMO.

Can't wait to see what SH can do with thst recruiting class coming in.

Seton Hall is one of those teams that could make a little run in the BET. Swept Xavier, Swept Georgetown, lost four games by a single point (SJU twice, @ Marquette, @ Creighton). They play better on the road than they do at home. It wouldn't surprise me at all to see them win 2-3 games at MSG, especially if 'Nova slips, allowing Creighton to get up to the 1-seed.

Problem is they lose so much of this year's team. Think Edwin,Teague,Mobley ang Gerramipour are all seniors. So they might be starting over again next year.

Mobley is back, but Brian Oliver is also graduating. Seton Hall really screwed up with Geramipoor, brought him back from injury his freshman year, ended up only playing 89 minutes (5 mpg), scoring 6 points, and had one more rebound (17) than foul (16). Had they left him on the shelf they'd have him for one more year.

Wouldn't the same apply to MU on a couple of occassions? Trevor Mbakwe (101 minutes) and Junior Cadougan (47 minutes)? Sometimes it's the player that makes that decision.

Oh, absolutely. I thought at the time Junior's decision to play would end up hurting us in the long run. Barely got any play, and while I don't think Junior would be a panacea for this year's team by any means, I'd much rather have a platoon of Junior and Derrick than Derrick and John.

If Junior was still here this year, do we get Duane?

I would think Duane yes, but probably Dawson no. Still a lot of factors for Duane (cousin on the team, local school, can play both guard positions, familiar with kids on the team) coming here, but I would be surprised if the staff would have gone out of their way to uncover Dawson if they had 3 PGs on the roster for this season.
