Just got to the BC. MU down three but only 2 turnovers in 1st half - 1 by Mayo, 1 by Jamil Wilson.

Not a lot of shots as rebounding battle is only 15-15.

Hit your FTs in 2nd half!

Hopkins picking up his 3rd foul is huge. , especially with Chris and Juan both with 3.

Keep driving to the hoop - Ayegba now with 4.

IWB

Ayegba is out with 16:00 minutes to go - GREAT steal and play by Jake Thomas.

these refs are basically making this unwatchable. never seen a make-up T in my life.

IWB

How about that? First time I have ever seen a make up T, especially when there was nothing going on.

IWB

FYI - When they called the T on Jake Thomas he wasn't taunting, he was making some type of facial gesture to Isaac Chew - shaking his head - Chew was doing the same thing back to him as was Juan. Must be some story to it.

Refs have helped us so far, but yeah...brutal. Just because you're bad in our favor doesn't make you good. But I'll take it :D

Not sure how you can play defense when they call a foul everytime down the court. Going to be a free throw shooting contest from here to the finish

Could not see the foul on Gardner, and they won't show replays here at the BC - anyone at home see that?

Problem with all the fouls is that we don't shoot FT consistently. I don't want this to become a FT contest

Agree jes - MU 17-26 tonight.

Wait, did Davante just hit two in a row? Whoa!

This might go down as the longest regulation game in NCAA history. Swallow the whistles refs.

You would think whoever is guarding Derrek Wilson would double down

Well, you got your wish. Gardner was hammered, no foul called. Every other play that is a foul. They swallowed their whistles for you.

That last foul on Juan - first, he shouldn't have reached, the player fell on his own, but it was a foul. Ref called a blocking foul. yes, it was a foul, it was a handcheck/reach, but certainly not a blocking foul.

Tough to play D when everyone has 4 fouls on them. Breathe on a player, it's a foul.

Sure was. Hands were not straight, came across the back of the neck. They called lesser fouls all game.

Anyone else notice that Davante kept the ball when he got it and did not throw it towards mid court, as he did against De Paul? He learned. :o

I think I said it in a text, but while this was Jake's career high at MU, it was not his "career high". While at South Dakota he had a career high of 40 with 10 three pointers against Chicago State.

My friend who takes pictures for Paint Touches said Jamie drew up the inbounds play, and Jake hit the 3 (Might have confused him with Chew because I remember seeing Chew being the most vocal after the T) and Jake was pointing and saying something to him for drawing up the play. Basically, he said the T was ridiculous. He also said the Georgetown guy was T's up pretty much for playing defense. Total make-up call.

it looked like the ref wanted to T up Davante after an and 1. Davante shimmied and shouted, but at no one. Just showing exuberance.

This crew did not have their best game day today.

I noticed that too. The ref that called the foul di not go to the scorer stable to call it right away. Instead he stared at Davante like he wanted to T him up or something. Really weird.

Buzz said Jake had a slight shoulder dislocation but played through it at DePaul. Didn't practice Mon or Tues.
