Very interesting and I would imagine these numbers will help us come selection time.

However, perception wise we are nowhere near the 2nd best conference and as we all know perception has a big imapct on recruiting and building a brand/program. Unfortunately, I think it will be very difficult to get to that point without having a few big name programs like the other conferences do--- Duke/UNC/Cuse, Ville/UConn, MSU/OSU, AZ/UCLA.

I think Marquette, Villanova, and Georgetown all have the potential to become marquee programs nationally, though MU and G-Town are not quite at their level of the past few seasons this year (though both could be by March, and I think we will be). The hope is that Nova parlays their current success into March, and makes an Elite 8/Final Four type of run. Hopefully, 1-2 other Big East teams also make the second weekend of the NCAA's. In future years, hopefully we can have a couple of Elite 8/Final 4 teams and 1-2 more second weekend teams.
