...about a mile off campus - a nephew spending the summer there just spotted them.

I assume Novak treated Dan considering their salary discrepancy.

Going out for some fine dining after playing hoops at MU would be my guess.
Great to see these guys come back to MU.

They probably bellied up at Pourman's immediately thereafter.

Gato is correct as Pourman's is fast becoming their hotspot as it is owned by one of Novak's closest friends Ben Hebl.

However, last week Milwaukee police received a call that a "tall man was waving a gun somewhere near Water Street. They went bar to bar, and when they got to Pourman's, there were 4 guys over 6'7, and yup - they dragged Chris Grimm out of the bar. Really? The Reaper looks like that kind of guy? Reaper is one of the nicest guys you will meet, they obviously targeted the wrong guy.

The guy gave up on pro-ball because he wanted to get a real job and have raise his baby in a safe, stable environment, yet he gets singled out because he is 6'10.

Singled out because he matched the description of the suspect? WTF? Just because you know him doesn't mean the cops know him.

Description was "a tall guy". With 5 guys over 6'7 in the bar, would you pick they guy sitting at a table with his wife and two other couples?

This would appear to be a clear case of profiling

A lot of minorities out there that feel Grimm's pain. Oh well. If he didn't do anything wrong, he's got nothing to worry about.

You would think with all the monitoring of conversations that the government is now doing, that they would be able to solve any crime instantaneously:cool:
