Glad to read the AD took responsibility for his decision. Shouldn't he be held accountable, too?

Nah. He'll just do the Washington DC (both parties) "I accept full responsbility" kabuki dance wherein he claims to accept responsibility without, you know, actually facing any consequences.

Speaking of Rice, when he was an assistant at MU, did anyone see any behavior that was remotely in the neighborhood of what went on at Rutgers? To a much, much, much lesser extent, what about Hill at Seton Hall, another ex-MU assistant? He's had anger issues as well.

Well, Mike Rice did coach under the fiery Mike Deane while at MU. However, I do not think Deane performed his practices like Rice did at Rutgers.

Here is an article on Rice recalling his early coaching days at MU when he came back to Marquette for the first time as Rutgers head coach:

I asked a good friend of mine who was a student manager of the team while Rice was here. He basically said it was pretty similar MINUS the physical contact with the players so I took that to mean copious amounts of swearing during practice.

Zach Heilprin ‏@ZachHeilprin 2h Timely story from @bjohnson613 today. Said former #MUBB coach Mike Deane once choked an assistant during a game. That assistant? Mike Rice.

No, but I'm guessing it was the home loss to Maine.

Mayor: I am certain, as a no good politician, you have done that kabuki dance.
