With MU still in the Big East race and Notre Dame also fighting for a top 4 finish, is this the most anticipated game in this series in over 30 years since Al McGuire's and Digger Phelp's teams battled?

Not to go all Iceman on this board or anything, but I think we are going to win HUGE on Saturday.

I hope so...only thing that worries me is that ND plays as slow as any team in the country.....I know we can win those kind of games but we tend to not play great when the other team plays stall ball.

I do think we will be able to get to the paint against them . They are 2nd in the conference in 3 point % in league games which worries me. They lead the league in assists but don't steal the ball......

Plain and simple...

They don't bring full court pressure and we are at home...MU wins.

Notre Dame is a smart basketball team that does not beat themselves and they do not quit. They started off @Pittsburgh down like 18 to 3 and came back and won the game. I am confident, but Notre Dame will not give MU anything on Saturday and will force MU to play all 40 minutes regardless of the score. Part of that is a credit to their coach.

From Lunardi, If we win out do you think we end up with a 3 seed? I also would have thought Gtown would be higher then 8.

If MU wins out they are in real good shape to move up and get a 3 seed as there are guaranteed losses in that group of 16.

Louisville and Syracuse play.
G'town and Syracuse play.
Wisconsin and Michigan State play.
Michigan State and Michigan play.
Michigan and Indiana play.
Duke and Miami play.
