In ESPN's new Power Rankings, MU is at #19 right behind #18 Wisconsin.

Looking at the AP Poll.....

Old Big East - 6 teams ranked (Syracuse, Louisville, Georgetown, Pitt, Marquette, Notre Dame)

Almost Big East - 3 teams (Georgetown, Marquette, Memphis)

New Conference - 3 teams (Butler, Georgetown, Marquette)

Notes - Both Cincinnati and Creighton dropped out this week.
After losing to Providence and Pittsburgh, Cincinnati dropped from 17 to 28.
After losing to Indiana State & Illinois State, Creighton dropped from 16 to 30.

John Gasaway was the one pollster who didn't put MU in his top 25 in the ESPN poll.

Unfortunately he is the smartest one and the one I would trust the most. I think we are borderline top 25, but there really is little difference between 10 and 40 this year.

Gassaway is basically Pomeroy so not surprising that he likes us less then some of the other guys who go on who you beat, who you lost to and where you played.

Our defensive effciency is really holding us down with the advanced stat guys.
