The Illini got shellacked at home by Northwestern last nite....:eek: Now 1-4 in the Big? Takes some of the bloom off Bucky's big win over the Illini. Guess John Groce has not been able to overcome this team's flaws....? IL was 12-0 and now is 14-5.

Very bizarre team. High highs and low lows. They showed some warts right after Maui with close wins against bad teams at home but then they also blasted Ohio State.

They are entirely perimeter dependent. They can be spectacular...or completely flame out.

Shaw's the guy that was looking at MU right? He's not doing much of anything. 11G, 4mpg, .8ppg.

Yep, MU was down to the wire with him. Really has done nothing in two seasons at IL. Dodged a bullet here...?
