Way more questions than answers still, but today seems like one of the most successful days in MU athletics (non-games) since the original Big East invite. The PR has all been overwhelmingly positive, somewhat surprisingly I'd say. Marquette & Georgetown are being labeled as the leaders of this new venture who have decided to stick it the football lords. The media is buying into the basketball-centric nature of the league rather than just a new boring C-USA remake with religious folks.
Still a lot to be determined as how successful this becomes, but I'd say both Larry and Fr. Pilarz have earned some cred in the past week. Kudos.
