Any predictions for tonight's game? I say MU in a blowout. They need to attack early and frustrate Rutgers out of the gates. MU 86 - Rutgers 68

IWB, I think Hamodamstrus is going to be jealous with that prediction. Great call. It just proves that you know your basketball and have a true feel for our team.

Just a quick story. When I was a freshman or soph at MU, this guy from McCormick came over to Schroeder Hall with a pool to pick the exact score for the Marquette at DePaul televised Saturday game on TVS. I had done research and knew we were not blowing out teams, looked at our season results and noticed that we won games with a score of 58 or 69, etc while the losing teams were scoring like 41, 52, etc. In other words, the games looked closer in the box score than they really were. So, I picked 79-61 MU. I'm with 5 or 6 friends watching the game and all of the sudden MU is up 79-61 with the scrubs in with like two minutes to go. Neither team can score until with 8 second to go, Guy Lam hits a turnaround jumper for MU on the baseline with 8 seconds left. All my buddies start screaming "YES!", because they didn't want me to win. However, the announcer then states, "NO basket traveling on Lam"...and Depaul does not score at the end and I win like $25 in the pool (yes, not a big amount). So , being the good sport that I am, I went to the liquor store next to Flanigans/ Hegarty's and bought 3 cases old Milwaukee for the crew...and basked in my glory.

Great story, imagine the beer of choice from the infamous Doc's Liquor was either Leiny, RW&B or Rhinelander.

(note: I gagged just typing in those names. Students can drink anything!)
