Must win game for Marquette, AL's night, 7:30 start... very thin crowd.

Rowsey just does not see the floor. Twice he had Elliott wide open, one on a fast break, and neither time did he even look at that side of the court. Needs to look left, not just right!

MU's first four hoops - no assists
MU's last three hoops - three assists

Need to keep up that trend!

Freshmen doing the job so far.

Lots of boos, but Rowsey hooked him on that drive.

Rowsey takes a breather and 2 turnovers lead to 2 three pointers for SJ.

This was my fear

Latest stat check...

MU with 7 turnovers - way too many, need to control that somehow, though tough without Marcus.

St. John's leading in points in the paint, 16-8. I know MU can't stop them in the paint, but need to put a dent into it.

Jamal Cain for three at the half - good things happen when Rowsey passes the ball!

Great decision by Rowsey to find Cain for the open 3 to end the half.

Turnovers leading to run outs have kept this game close......overall good defensive half for MU.....thought Matt was very active.

Rowsey making a lot of good decisions tonight.

Team playing very unselfishly right now

Here's one for you... I was in the media room at halftime. Inside there is the storage closet where they keep all of the MU gameday stuff. At the half the student workers were in there going through the big heads trying to pull some to take out for the second half...

"Hey, who's Betty White?"
"Who?"
"Betty White."
"I don't know, hey do you know who Betty White is?"
"Who?"

They went with Super Mario.

Greg Elliott might hustle down court better than anyone on this team. I just flat out like that kid.

Damn - must not have saved on the box, sorry!

No word on Harry, just speculation as always.

What a shame. Allen Ludden is rolling over in his grave!

Halftime video tribute to AL was pretty awesome.

Jim,

Is that video accessible - I wasn't in my seat at half-time. Went to the MU website and couldn't find anything.

Was it any of these?

I don't believe so. It was AL highlights with some interviews, Lloyd Walton was one, had clips of the play and the end was Bo Ellis saying that working at MU, every time he walked in and was greeted by the statue of AL with his arms up, "it was coach wishing him a good morning and it makes him smile".

Weren't you just saying something about Marquette's poor use of social media? Wouldn't splashing this video all over social media be a good idea?
