Got an e-mail from Ted saying that he saw a discussion regarding MU's "bad losses". Who was that? I am not a huge follower of the RPI, but....

MU's losses based on RPI

Syracuse RPI #1 (on the road)
Georgetown RPI #13 (on the road)
Vanderbilt RPI #27 (home game)
Notre Dame RPI #37 (on the road)
LSU RPI #76 (on the road)

Two of the losses were against top 15 RPI teams.
Four of the losses were against top 40 RPI teams.
The fifth is one spot outside of top 75. Where is the bad loss? To the #76 team?

BCS schools below that spot are below, would losing to any of them not be considered a bad loss? There are 25 "worse losses" just in the BCS conferences alone.

#91 Cincinnati
#92 Va Tech
#94 Maryland
#95 Villanova
#98 Georgia
#99 Oklahoma
#105 Stanford
#107 OK State
#110 Tennessee
#118 UCLA
#129 Penn State
#130 Iowa
#132 Auburn
#135 Oregon State
#143 St. John's
#144 georgia Tech
#147 Wake Forest
#151 Washington State
#152 Providence
#153 Rutgers
#173 Clemson
#177 DePaul
#217 Boston College
#222 Texas Tech
#229 USC

Really don't think we have any bad losses. Man some people have to really dig for something negative with this team.

Lost Otule for the season, lose Davante for a month or more. What happens? Buzz and the team just keep winning. Vander Blue - stepping up. Jamil Wilson - stepping up. Crowder / DJO - playing like the talented senior leaders they are. Everyone on the roster is contributing. Not sure why the need to search for negatives when you have a top 15 team that is in second place in an elite basketball conference.
