I know some guys comment on this from time to time, but by my count MU has 11 guys in uniform, six different types of shoes.

Martin is not listed in the Box Score. Is he not playing? Did I miss something? I'm at work and can't watch the game. Following the box score on line.

They said that the BU coach felt it was better with him coming off the bench. The announcers didn't buy it.

This isn't a fun team to watch anymore.

Announcers can't figure it out either. Must be a 1/2 game or hopefully full game suspension that Butler is not making public

One of the best offensive teams in country isn't fun to watch. God help you.

Tired of turnovers, tired of uncontested layups, tired of wide open threes by the opponent.

I believe he is on bench, suited up, but still has his warmup on.

Who's making you watch Buzz Killington?

Holtman said it was a coaches decision but Martin will be ready to go in the second half. We shall see.

Butler extending their defense and not giving MU 3 point opportunities. Need JJJ in there to drive to the basket...if he plays defense. We have to figure out a way to make them pay for extending their defense.

Haani is getting the complete derrick Wilson treatment on offense. Butler is just completely sagged off him daring him to do anything.

Butler is 8-17 for 47% from beyond the arc - need to stop giving them open threes.

That was horrible off his face.

You can't really complain about Reinhardt's three point shooting as he is connecting on 43% for the year, but he can't help but take 2-3 ill advised threes per game. Need him to utilize a better shot selection.

Butler currently on a 9-2 run. MU needs to wake up!!

Man, when Duane Wilson is bad he's really, really bad.

We are simply a bad defensive team. We don't play help D and nobody can stay in front of their man.

That and we decided to stop passing and instead jack up contested 3s

For as good as Rowsey has been of late -- he really sucked tonight.

Still think that Seton Hall loss comes back to bite this squad. Hoping they can go on a run yet. Have to go 4-2 the rest of the way.

Any time we hold a good team to 68 points, we need to win. Offense melted down after Fischer's two missed FT's, never getting ball back to him.

The 68 points given up was more of a reflection of butler's control of the game than MU defense.

It was still a 66 possession game, so slower then normal for Marquette but not a glacial pace. If you told me that Marquette would hold Butler to 68 points in 66 possessions, I would have said to bet the house on a Marquette win. Unfortunately, this was our second worst offensive game in the Big East season.

Sometimes numbers just don't reflect the ebb and flow of the game. Butler was pushing the ball in the first half and MU was rushing its shots. 2nd half, Butler was burning the clock which almost worked against them.
