This bracketology breakdown from USA Today has MU as a 9 seed playing in Tulsa. Nice to be in the bracketology mix, but we need to take care of business to stay in the picture.

Georgetown (RPI 58, SOS 10, 3 wins versus RPI Top 50) in the First Four in Dayton is most surprising. 6 teams from the BE, Seton Hall 1 of the First Four out (I think they will be in). Providence one of the other 25 teams considered. At the mid-point of conference play, 8 teams from the Big East have legitimate hope (numbers) to make the tournament. Injuries to Maurice Watson and Edmund Sumner may allow teams like MU, Georgetown and Providence to get wins they otherwise would not have expected to get (i.e. MU @ Creighton and Creighton @ Georgetown already).
