Big game for X, who can use a little heft on their resume. Cincy is probably the better team (and at home), but has only played one team in the neighborhood of X in the last six weeks (meanwhile X had their own Nova, Butler, and Creighton gauntlet and only one of those losses was a blowout).

Underrated rivalry. Pure hate in the city. Zip them up!

Bad D or great O? Lol

Trevon Bluiett's career high is 27 points. He has 26 at the break against Cincinnati. He's a perfect 8-for-8 from the field. 6-6 on 3s.

Cincy cannot shoot, but 2nd chance points from offensive boards has them in the lead. Xavier' inside game is night and day compared to last season.

I thought that in November. They miss Reynolds and Farr.

Marquette rebounding looks great compared to Xavier.
30 to 3 in second chance points. Unreal.

Xavier misses a chance for a big road win.

If Cincinnati wasn't 18/37 from the foul line, this game would have been a blowout. Cincinnati shot 50%. When they did miss they got the rebound.

Cincy was due. IIRC, Xavier won the last 3 in the crosstown rivalry.
