Looks like another nice Big East win over a power 5 school. St. John's is crushing the Orange by 22 points with about 6 minutes to play

Three years in a row for St. John's. Unreal that they even won. To win by 33 over the Orange.

Hall of fame coach shields his team after St John's debacle.

Somehow I don't think he forgot how to coach but his group this year isn't getting it for whatever reason...

Maybe St. John's isn't quite as bad as many seem to think, and maybe our games against them, especially the one in NYC, won't be presumed "W's".

Maybe, but consider the following...

This was St John's first win over a top-100 team, with losses to bad Delaware State (really bad) and LIU Brooklyn teams.

Syracuse only has one top-100 win over 74 Monmouth, and in addition to the Johnnies, they are also the only top-100 team UConn has beat.

St John's and UConn both look like crap most nights and both beat Syracuse. Maybe they are better than we think, but more likely to me is that Syracuse just sucks.

I was at the UW/Cuse game several weeks back. Their zone looked awful. Their offense was chucking shots at times. I said to the guy I went with that this does not look at all like a normal Cuse team. They looked bad, really bad. Also saw them quit during the second half.

I just don't think they are very good at all.

History was made in the Carrier Dome on Wednesday night.

Syracuse suffered its worst loss in the 36-year history of the Dome, falling to St. John’s 93-60.

The defeat marked the first time that a Jim Boeheim-coached team has lost five nonconference games in the regular season – and Syracuse fans booed their beloved Orange off the court.

Good win for the conference and for St. John's. Not sure if this is a big game in NY, but I'm sure it was a heck of a lot of fun for St. John's fans and Mullin.

St. John's is a dangerous bad team. There is talent there, they have height and guards that can play (just may not play smart or team ball). Certainly capable of beating MU.

So how bad is Syracuse? My guess is they don't turn it around in ACC play, so it will be enjoyable watching this train wreck all year long.
