This is the frustrating thing about St John's.. .they are going to have a bad record and RPI in all likelihood but yet are talented enough to beat just about anybody.

Little value in a win but potential for what will look like a bad loss.

This has to be the worst loss in the new format of Big East history.

And yet the likes of Goodman and Rothstein continue to hype them in the off season. tons of flash and talent but can't play basketball. We always seem to have trouble with them though, hope we can get two wins out of them.

Can Mullin coach? Has a ton of talent and size.

I will just say with St. John's, I wish we were playing both our games against them in January and not February.
Talent on the roster, and potential for a good team next year. I just hope they don't figure it out on or before Feb 1 or Feb 21.

Problem I noticed is that their size is really offensively challenged (despite being good defensively). Sima and Yakwe struggle when they get the ball in their hands.....traveling, fumbling the ball, etc. Sima and Yakwe can improve (they are only Sophs), but right now teams focus on shutting down the guards/wings and it appears to be working.

For many years, STJ has been athletic and long and that is what traditionally has given us problems. And will do so again this season.

We should beat them twice, but wouldn't be shocked if we split with them.
