Very nice article. Steve Taylor has gained 42 pounds...? IWB's Inside the Al article says he looks slender. Must have zero body fat...!

evidence #523 that Buzz gets "it"

We were done with our schedule when they called Mike Broeker, our deputy AD who handles our administrative stuff. I’d just finished working out, and Mike called me and said, “Hey, I know our schedule is done, but what do you think about playing in this game?” I said, “Move heaven and earth to get it done.” He told me he didn’t know who the opponent was going to be, and I said, “I don’t care who it is. Let’s do it.”

That game alone has me groaning for the season to already to start. not to mention this year will start my 50+ year streak of being a season ticket holder.

I've filed taxes and mubb tixs as the two constants for the rest of my life

And I stand corrected (IWB was right,as usual). The Ohio-State game was not a deal done by the two schools AD and ex-ND football players. It was indeed, Mike Broeker!

Broeker has a ton of contacts, the guy is a lot more tied in on a national level than people realize.

I think Broeker is a very important piece at Marquette. It is critical to keep him. I think he has a strong relationship with Buzz, which helps there as well.

Is it really possible that Taylor has gained 42 lbs since November?

I mean when i saw him on TV he looked to be a solid 200 to 210. I can't believe he is 240 lbs+ now.

220-230 would be a great place to start for him. If he is really 6'8 240 he could easily play some 5 for us.

To clarify my position on his body - Yes, he has muscle, but when you see him next to guys like Anthony Hill & Davante Gardner it doesn't look like it. He must have low body fat because he was running the court better than most of the guys out there - looked to be in great shape.
