Inspiring story. Prayers are with Trey. Personally, I joined the organ donor program after hearing Trey's story a few years ago.

Sad to hear about Maryland, last I heard he was heading out there for tests/interviews, too bad that they turned him down.

Great guy, one of the best, but it sounds like he won't get the chance at another transplant.

Coach Crean with the shout out to Trey in the post game interview with Tracy Wolfson. Seemed pretty emotional.

Mrs. AlphaBangura and I were blessed to be able to see Trey at the recent Hall of Fame Induction dinner last month and tell him how much we cared about him. He was not doing well but needed to be there for Steve. Guy just never quit. Love you Trey! You can now take big, deep breaths and root for Marquette like crazy! Rest in Peace.

Great guy. Always ready to talk hoops-didn't matter who you were. Obviously a great basketball mind. He reinvented himself after his transplant and became a tremendous advocate. On call 24/7 to help transplant patients and their families. I looked up to him as a role model. Very meek and humble but there was no need as he was tremendously successful in all he did. I hope he prays for us.

Was so humble and never felt sorry for himself. Trey and Flip back coaching together in heaven, he will be sorely missed down here. Very sad day.....

I, too, signed my license and now have my orange printed sticker on my drivers license due to Trey Schwab.

Had the misfortune to be up at Mayo Clinic last spring, visiting my aunt (she survived). We had a room outside of the ICU for the family to wait in. Sadly, this was also the room that was used to discuss pulling the plug on a family member. Got to see first hand the emotions involved with making the final decision for this other family.
