True, but I don't think anyone is losing sleep over CampusRush. Most casual fans will go to ESPN or CBS.

ETA: I didn't realize that was SI. That is a bad oversight.

I don't know...I can't see any way we get more than 6. Seton Hall, Villanova, and Xavier are locks, Providence and Butler are probably in. Anyone else would need to win the conference tourney. Good chance the Big 12 gets 7.

Other conferences will get more, but 5 out of 10 is decent and IMHO, Creighton, Georgetown and Marquette are better then the teams left out of the other major conferences.

I really like the makeup of this conference and that we play everyone home and home.

The SEC may only get 3 in and they are a 14 team conference.

Definitely decent. I think that 5 should be the minimum this league hopes to get every year going forward. But the question asks who will get the most, and the reality is the quality of the Big 12 or the quality of the ACC or maybe even Big 10 will get them more volume bids than us.

Good points by all. I agree that 5 should be the minimum goal each year...while aiming for 6 or 7. The bubble is so weak this year, and bubble teams are already losing today (Ohio State, Vanderbilt). I am confident the Big East gets at least 5 this year. Conferences with 14 or 15 teams (Big 10, ACC, SEC) have the luxury of uneven schedules and padding the resume with wins against teams in the bottom portion of the conference. For example, Indiana had a relatively easy schedule compared to other teams in the Top 5 of the Big 10 (only playing Michigan State, Maryland and Purdue once) .

Providence took care of business today so they are a lock for sure. Let's hope Butler needs to win one in NYC to lock things up.

Michigan losing at home. Book it, 5 for the Big East, and I would bet none of the 5 will have to play in Dayton.

Shockers lost in their tournament, so that is one bid stolen from MVC. Could be Michigan that gets bumped.
