The list of schools involved with the three Wisconsin prep prospects in that story is a bit off.

No, make that, way off.

You never know what to believe. There was one kid years back that held his presser saying he was picking one school over the other finalist, Marquette. I 'inquired', and it had been more than 8 months since MU had had any contact with him whatsoever, yet the kid announces that he picked his school over Marquette.

There have been a few over the years that have listed Marquette as a finalist, and upon inquiring, was met with the following response, "Who?"

Send out a letter or watch an AAU game that he happens to be playing in and if the kid likes the name of your school, you just made his short list.

Great links guys - thanks

I've been hearing Jefferson's name more and more of late. Sounds like he's really moving his stock up. When an article talks about the Milwaukee Running Rebels winning a title and doesn't even mention Kevon Looney, I figure he's got to be showing pretty impressively. Is Marquette in at all on Jefferson? I realize he's definitely small, but we've seen short PGs succeed under Buzz (James, Acker) and he sounds like a complete player. If he can handle, hit the three, distribute, and outplay a guy like Nate Britt, I'd definitely want to see him here.
