I wonder if the MU game will end up being canceled/postponed. Same for the Georgetown game. NYC is expecting 6-10 inches of snow. I hope it's not like that game eight or nine years ago when MU got into Jersey and lost to a bad Rutgers team.

Doubt it will be cancelled. The stands may well look like that Rutgers game, though I think there was more snow for that.

NYC getting hit worse than expected. I would be surprised if this game is played tonight.

Gov. Cuomo has issued a snow emergency in NY per the NY Times. Will MSG employees be able to get to the Garden?

PS, Flyers/ Islanders NHL game in Brooklyn tonight has been cancelled.

Mayor DeBlasio considering an "all-travel" ban. If that happens, I would guess the game would be postponed. I wonder if it could be played tomorrow?

MSG has Springsteen tomorrow. If the game is postponed, I wonder if they'll move it to SJU's campus.

I would be pretty surprised if the game went on as scheduled given everything that is happening in NYC right now.

I agree. I mean how is St. Johns even going to get there much less everyone that has to work it.

Really? its a mess.

There was already a game going on before them, so there had to be MSG staff there. Plus, the team was there. Hell, they were practicing across the street from MSG! Only reasonable solution would be to play tomorrow on St. John's campus. But no guarantee the weather /roads will be much better at that point. Can't believe they will come back to Milwaukee without having played the game.

I'd hope either CBS or the BE Digital Network could stream the game live online, but it doesn't look like that will happen.

Butler has games with DePaul, Marquette, and St. John's and a home game against Georgetown in their next four. They should get fairly healthy soon.

No Tyler Lewis was too much to overcome tonight. They've got good wins (@ Cincy and neutral vs. Purdue), but other than that they need some teeth with their resume. It's early yet but so far only conference wins are vs. St. John's and @ DePaul. So those wins won't do anything for them, and they've been swept by Providence and lost at home to Nova so the odds of a win on the road isn't great. They need to get some more good wins. They'll have a lot of pressure to beat Xavier, Creighton, and G'Town at Hinkle.

P.S. I've been amazed with Mo Watson every time I watch Creighton, he is a freaking stud. How much better would MU be with him?

Butler likely only needs 8-9 conference wins for a bid. They're a lock at 9-9. Not at all like us or Georgetown.

Yeah they should be safe. They'll likely finish the season without any bad losses. I'm more talking about seeding consequences if they don't get some more big wins.
