A year after Fox sold the big Villanova @ Butler game to CBS, they did it again with Providence @ Butler. Bet they are kicking themselves!

And unlike last year, you should have predicted that it would be a match-up between top half of the conference teams (not to mention a game featuring an All-American and potential player of the year). I know they probably want to show the NYC market as much as possible, but this is a decision that can be first guessed and is not just bad luck or surprising circumstances (whereas last year Butler surprised by being a top half team).

Wait, other than Dunn wasn't Providence picked around with MU at 5th or 6th in the pre-season.

Don't exactly know how the package works in terms of picking order,, but I know CBSSN doesn't get the leftovers. CBS gets up to 30 boardcast. These games are picked in July.

Sad moment, Xavier's freshman star Edmond Sumner taken off the court on a stretcher after a hard foul at the basket.

Nova playing like they want to send a message.......Xavier looks overmatched at least right now.

Xavier looked flat after watching their teammate go down with a serious injury.

Yeah, I would not read too much into X with this game. Now, I think they were losing (and possibly big) even with a healthy Sumner, but that totally wiped out X's chances. X is still really good, but so is Nova, especially when they are playing inside out and not just chucking threes early in the clock (and Nova even made a few heat check

Last time a top 10 team lost by 30 pts, was Notre Dame at Duke last year. A national title and elite 8 was the result.
